One of the first decisions in any app project is whether to build separately for iOS and Android, or use a cross-platform framework such as Flutter. Both are good options — the right one depends on your product.
When Flutter is the better choice
If you need both platforms, want to launch quickly and your app relies on standard features — accounts, content, payments, notifications, maps, camera — Flutter lets one team ship to both stores from a single codebase, usually at lower cost.
When native makes sense
Apps that depend heavily on the newest platform features, advanced graphics or deep hardware integration can benefit from fully native development.
Our usual recommendation
For most business and consumer apps we recommend Flutter, as we used for GateHouse. We will always explain the trade-offs for your specific product during scoping.
